The term "Warbird" is used to describe vintage military aircraft. Originally the Warbird was a piston powered fighter from World War II. The term now has been extended to include all military aircraft that are no longer in active military service, newly built military aircraft replicas and reproductions of vintage military aircraft. Now, aircraft from World War I, Korea, and Vietnam have joined the legendary Warbird ranks. Here at Warbird Legends you will find photos of these legendary aircraft, as well as modern military jet fighters, transports, and helicopters. As Warbird Legends is a new website, some pages are still under construction. We are adding more photos and information, so check back often.
